Shipping – Delivery Information
Eco Stone offers shipping in the metropolitan area of Cleveland up to
25 miles from ZIP 44128 for all purchases over 1500 SF
SHIPPING POLICY
Due
to volume and weight, orders will be shipped on a pallet with a LTL freight
carrier (LTL= Less than Truck Load). Delivery of products that are in
stock is estimated to be around 2-4 business days, depending on the location to
which the order is shipped. By default the shipments are booked with curbside
delivery. We will send you a tracking number (PRO number) when the shipment is
picked up from our warehouse by the freight carrier.
Freight shipping cost
The freight shipping cost is calculated at the checkout of our store on an
order by order basis, and is dependent on delivery zip code and the weight of
the order. By default the shipments are booked as curbside delivery. Flat
shipment rate per pallet 90$, to commercial Cleveland local address. Shipment
rate to residential address based on carrier estimation.
Tips to save on shipping cost
The weight on the
pallet is only a minor factor in the calculation of the freight rate. Depending
on the type of stone a pallet can hold up to 48 boxes of Ecostone (approx. 350
square feet of stones or 600 square feet of bricks). Where shipping 10 cartons
across the country can be rather expensive in comparison to the cost of the
product, shipping 48 boxes will result in only a slightly higher shipping rate.
Tip 1: It can be very
beneficial to order for more projects at once. You may consider to do more
walls than you originally planned to do, order for a future project right away,
order different stones/colors for different walls, or order for friends and
family as well.
Tip 2: Order one or
two cartons extra after you already added a 10% extra for cuts and trimming.
Some panels might get damaged during transport, cutting, trimming, and
installation. A subsequent order of one or two cartons is highly expensive to
ship and your project comes to a hold while waiting for the extra stone veneer.
It is recommended to have some spare stones laying around for future repairs
and alterations (e.g. replacing a electrical outlet)
